Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a National Day of Service and is celebrated on January 15th, 2024. This year, the Green Bay Conservation Corps is hosting a 3-part event to celebrate! First, the GBCC will celebrate MLK through service. A city-wide volunteer event will take place from 2pm – 4pm assisting neighbors in need of snow removal. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up using this form and complete a volunteer waiver. If you would like to nominate a neighbor or yourself for snow removal, please complete this form. After the service event, join the GBCC at the Brown County Central Library for a keynote speaker. Hear how MLK’s legacy has influenced the community of Green Bay. Directly following the keynote speaker, stay for a social hour with activities, conversations, and light refreshments.
