Brown County United Way’s 12th Annual Blanketing Brown County Blanket Drive Warms Hearts in Partnership with Green Bay Labor Council

GREEN BAY, WI — Brown County United Way, in collaboration with the Green Bay Labor Council and a network of collection partners across Brown County, celebrated a heartwarming success during the 12th Annual Blanketing Brown County Blanket Drive. Twenty organizations received hundreds of blankets in this year’s initiative.

Through the generosity of Brown County residents, blankets and bedding items were successfully distributed on Friday, November 3 at the Green Bay Labor Council site. Additionally, the drive received monetary donations from individuals and organizations who supported the cause.

The community’s compassion shone brightly during this year’s blanket drive, exemplifying the spirit of unity and kindness that defines Brown County. Blankets and bedding items were thoughtfully sorted to support to the needs of adults, children, and even furry friends at the local animal shelter, ensuring that everyone in the community would be comforted and protected during the coming winter months.

This annual event not only warms the bodies and spirits of those in need but also demonstrates the incredible power of community collaboration. Brown County United Way, the Green Bay Labor Council, and the twenty organizations that collected the blankets are deeply grateful for the unwavering support and dedication of the people of Brown County.
