    Please note: Due to the anticipated high volume of requests, submitting an application to the Emergency Response Fund does not guarantee receipt of a grant. If your organization is selected to receive a grant, the amount may be less than what is requested depending on the availability of funds. Please be as reasonable as possible with your request.
  • Emergency Response Fund Grant Agreement

    Please acknowledge Brown County United Way when communicating about the receipt of this grant.
  • Expenditure of Funds

    The use of Emergency Response Fund grant dollars is subject to modification only with Brown County United Way’s prior written approval.

    The grantee shall return all funds to Brown County United Way:
    1. 1. That are unspent for the purposes outlined in the application.
    2. 2. If Brown County United Way determines the grantee has not performed in accordance with this agreement or the original application.
    3. 3. If the grantee loses its federal tax-exempt status.
  • Reporting of Funds

    The grantee agrees to provide additional information or reporting on the grant-supported work upon request, including the number of people served and for what purpose, a detailed accounting of how the dollars were spent, and when possible, basic demographics of the people served (i.e., age, race/ethnicity, household income, municipality of residence, etc.).

    The grantee organization is responsible for the expenditure of funds and for maintaining adequate supporting records consistent with generally accepted accounting practices.

    This is not a fixed list of needs. The list may change over time; we want to remain agile and flexible as the situation unfolds and as we continue to hear from nonprofits and other community partners.
