The Business of Caring
Local executives give back to their community
rest of the story...
“These meetings are as much about creating a forum to receive thoughts and concerns from the public as they are to educate people about how important their investment in the United Way is,” Van Straten said. “It is a critical point of contact, and communications have to go both ways.”
By both informing and listening, Van Straten said the cabinet will provide a powerful conduit for increasing financial and volunteer resources, which will help make a better Brown County.
“The members of our cabinet are helping to provide a solid foundation of support for the United Way,” Van Straten said. “Their dedication and time commitment make them an invaluable resource for our community.”
The eight cabinet chairs and their divisions are:
Paul Beideman – Major Firms
Kelly Wolfe – Commerce & Industry
Tim Weyenberg – Professional, Technology & Communications
Ken Wachter and Steve Van Vuren – Wholesale, Entertainment & Retail
Dennis Hogan and Mark McMullen – Finance, Insurance, Real Estate & Healthcare
Dan Nerad – Non-Profit & Education
Paul Jadin – Government
