2008 Brown County United Way Health and Hygiene Drive

Collection from May 12 - June 6

The United Way Health and Hygiene Drive collects basic need items - shampoo, baby wipes, toothpaste, etc. - and distributes them to people who can't afford them. These items are especially important because they cannot be purchased with food stamps.

Welcome to our site. Please take a moment to visit our program areas to see what United Way is doing in Brown County. This is not your father’s United Way! Great things are happening through the efforts of more than 200 community volunteers who are collectively bringing people together, exchanging ideas and offering their expertise to make Brown County a better place for everyone.

Their dedication and commitment shows. Last year alone, more than 85,000 people directly benefited from United Way dollars through emergency and prevention programs in Brown County.

And there are more good things to come. We have taken a lead role in bringing 2-1-1 to Brown County, so help is just a phone call away. We are also building a Community Partnership for Children to ensure that children will have every opportunity to flourish from birth. These Community Change Initiatives will connect people to the resources they need in order to thrive.

By mobilizing resources, investing in programs that most effectively address our community needs, and working to achieve lasting changes, the Brown County United Way is making a Community Impact that is truly a testament to the power of working together.

Thank you again for visiting our website. This is your United Way, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions or feedback. We always appreciate hearing from you!
