Make an Impact on a Family. GIVE
 Brown County United Way funding supports helping others because we are all neighbors:
Ms. Thao is a single mother with five children. She has no education and speaks little English. She and her family need an interpreter every time they have an appointment with a doctor, social worker, school counselor, or even an insurance agent.
The Brown County United Way funds a support program of the Asian American Resource Center to help Ms. Thao and her family. This program advocates for the needs of people like Ms. Thao, providing translations, referrals and assistance with every aspect of their life.
Ms. Thao and clients similar to her continue to need assistance because of their language barrier. Without your support for the Brown County United Way, programs such as these would not be able to help new residents integrate into society’s mainstream.
