Make an Impact on a Child. GIVE

Thanks to funding by the Brown County United Way, Encompass Child Care is able to provide a positive environment and invaluable opportunities to children.

Encompass offers high quality child care to working families whose income is 185% of the Federal poverty level. United Way’s support also allows Encompass to provide child care to families in crisis, including parents who are living in homeless shelters, parents who need to care for a sick spouse or child and cannot work, parents who are ill themselves, or parents who are referred to Encompass by school personnel.

At Encompass, children develop social and cognitive skills to help get them ready for school. The kids at Encompass are always busy. They’re involved in hands-on creative art projects as well as learning the alphabet, colors and counting. Social skills are learned through daily interactions and play.

The children take field trips and regular trips to the park and the library. They swim, play kickball, read books and play tag. They learn, they grow, and they prosper.

Without your support for the Brown County United Way, many of these families simply could not afford quality child care.
