Volunteer
Whether it's becoming involved in our neighborhood schools or serving with one the many nonprofit organizations in Brown County, volunteering is an excellent avenue for sharing and growing your expertise. Expand your awareness by learning more about the people who call our area home.
American Red Cross Volunteer Transportation Driver
This vital service provides trasnsportation for medical, nutrition, employment and social engagements to elderly and disabled individuals. Drivers must be 18, have a vaild driver's license and a good driving record. Training is provided to ensure the safety of passengers and drivers. Volunteers are able to drive vans or cars. Neville Public Museum
Volunteers are needed in various areas of the museum.

- Gift shop - Help with sales, sorting and other interesting projects.
- Sorting slides - Looking for volunteers to sort through a four-year collection of slides of the museum, and organize them. Need only come in a few hours a week.
- Education Guides (Docents) - Guided school groups with other volunteers and staff. Training provided. Works mainly with grades K-6. Upcoming subjects include history, nature, reading and collecting.
- Craft makers - create craft items for a Girl Scout event.
Salvation Army
Volunteers needed in various areas.

- Food Pantry Workers - Assist in stocking shelves and packing grocery bags for clients.
- Thrift Store Help - Help sort donations, hang clothing or assist customers.
- Sal's Supper Club assistants - Help set tables, serve meals and clean-up in the after school program.
- Noon Meal Help - Help prepare, serve and clean up for our noon meal program, serving around 200 people.
- Volunteer Drivers - Drivers are always needed to drive our vehicles for our Senior Program, morning bread run, and other various activites.
