Program/Service Description:
They enforce codes i.e. housing, public nuisance, and animal. They investigate structural problems and use of land. Investigate unsanitary living situations, electricity not working, rats etc. They look into things that are not a police or fire department matter. They do not get involved with landlord/tenant situations over security deposits, broken appliances, rent etc.
