Program/Service Description:
The mission of the NEW Community Clinic is to provide access to medical care where there are gaps in the area health care delivery system. Most services at the clinic are free. If patients are referred out to a physician, hospital, dentist etc., a sliding fee scale is used based on their ability to pay with a minimum of twenty-five percent. It is mainly a walk in clinic. The clinic is for those who cannot afford health insurance and do not qualify for government health programs such as Medicare, Medicaid and general relief. Routine physicals are not done for adults at the clinic. Will provide limited dental care for people with no health/dental insurance.
