Program/Service Description:
Children with Special Health Care Needs is a resource center that provides a variety of services for families with children who have a developmental disability, a long-term chronic behavioral, physical, or emotional illness or condition. There is a lending library available, parent support groups, training for parents, health benefits counseling, resource directory regarding physicians, therapists, and other health care providers and resources, help with transition and other supportive services. The First Step Hotline provides further information statewide.
