Welcome to the Parenting Resources Section
of the 2-1-1 website!
Welcome to the Parenting Resources Section of the 2-1-1 website! This section is designed to help Brown County parents more easily find information on local programming, parenting tips and child development.
Our community’s future is directly tied to the success of all of our children. Decades of research prove that the opportunities we provide to children today, starting at birth, will absolutely shape who they become tomorrow.
The Community Partnership for Children is grounded in this knowledge. The Partnership is an initiative led by the Brown County United Way that is bringing together nonprofit organizations, service clubs, educational institutions, government agencies, businesses and individuals from across the community, all working cooperatively toward the goal of improving how all Brown County children and their families receive the help and information they need to thrive.
On this site you will find links to the agencies and organizations that are participating in the Community Partnership for Children, as well as a link to the 2-1-1 database which contains detailed information on these and many other Brown County programs.
You will also find a listing of web resources for parents. Several of them are geared toward early childhood, when the window of opportunity to positively influence children’s development is open the widest.
Thank you for visiting! For more information on the Community Partnership for Children, contact Sarah Inman at sarah@browncountyunitedway.org. For help navigating the 2-1-1 database, dial 2-1-1 and a call specialist will assist you.
