Advancing the common good is not only about helping one person at a time, but also about changing systems to help all of us. We are all connected and interdependent. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, and when people are healthy. While measuring the unmet needs though 2-1-1 and comparing those to the needs identified by other groups in our community, Brown County United Way is watching for trends to show where we need to improve our community's systems. In 2008, the data clearly demonstrated the need to address housing and transportation in our community.
