The State Victim Notification Service (VINE) is a free and anonymous telephone service that provides victims of crime two important features: Information and Notification. Wisconsin VINE is a service of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and is provided by your local sheriff. You will need the following when calling: Offender identification Number and Offender Name Information you will receive: Current offender custody status, location of offender, scheduled release date, and information about crime victim services in your area. You need to register to use this program by either calling (888) 944-8463 or by visiting www.vinelink.com
