Program/Service Description:
Stopping the usage of tobacco is a challenge. Many people stop on their own, but most require support. The Call it Quits Tobacco Cessation Program offers a telephone-based counseling service for people who are ready to stop using tobacco. This program is FREE to anyone. What happens when I call? A Call It Quits counselor will ask you a series of questions and help you decide your next steps. The counselor will: * assess your smoking or tobacco habit * discuss your readiness to quit * help you develop a personalized plan to quit * send you a free educational packet to assist you in the process * provide you with support.
