Program/Service Description:
The Day Treatment program is designed to meet the mental health needs of children between the ages of 7 and 17 who are exhibiting problematic behaviors. Through this structured program, a wide variety of services are offered including individual and family counseling, group therapy specific to the needs of the child. The goals are to encourage youth to manage feelings such as anger and sadness, increase youth's self esteem, improve communication skills, support parents and assist them to become confident with their parenting techniques, offer education on issues such as family problems, substance abuse, sexual abuse, and health-related issues.
