Program/Service Description:
Family and Childcare Resources of N.E.W. is the result of a merger between Community Childcare Connections and Fort Howard Family Resources Center. Community Childcare Connections (also known as CCC) is a nonprofit child care resource and referral agency serving Brown, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto and Shawano counties. Support services is offered to parents and child care providers by: * Connecting child care resources to parents, child care providers, businesses, and the community. * Providing comprehensive early childhood information to parents and providers. * Answering child care questions * Referring parents to child care providers. The Fort Howard Family Resource Center is located on 520 Dousman St. The Center offers a variety of opportunities for families, children, and older adults. Programs include: early childhood education for parents with their children ages birth to 5 years, family play groups for ages 0-5, ESL program, respite care as needed, Dad's Sport night, home visits of outreach/education/support of families or individuals, Family dinners, toy and book lending library, women's support group, There is an on-site nurse practitioner. Family Nights, STAR Parenting, Play Groups, Workshops. .
