Program/Service Description:
A public-awareness program. The mother can anonymously leave her baby, up to 3 days old, with a hospital employee. No authorities will be contacted and the mother's identity will not be asked. The hospital will provide medical care and contact the Dept. of Health and Human Services, which will assume custody. The baby will be placed in foster care and for adoption. No police will be called. The 24 hour Crisis number is ready to connect you with the help you need.
