Program/Service Description:
The mission of Wisconsin Family Ties is to create greater understanding, acceptance, and support in the community for families that include children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, mental and substance use disorders. Services include: 1) Information and Referral * Toll-free help line connects families and professionals to I & R Coordinator * Family Ties Newsletter * website provides easily accessible information 2) In-service training 3) Direct assistance and support to families 4) Assisting local district families in creating their own parent-to-parent support networks 5) Connecting families to community-based resources
