Program/Service Description:
The purpose of the Brown County Health Department is to encourage and promote individual and community health and well being for persons who live, work or visit Brown County. Services include communicable disease control, immunizations, maternal/child health promotion, tobacco prevention and control, management of environmental hazards, well water and recreational water testing, licensing/inspection of food, lodging and recreational establishments, and public health emergency preparedness.
