Program/Service Description:
The mission of the Refugee Family Program is to educate, intervene and support all refugee families who have issues with domestic abuse, using force to discipline, and weakening family relationships and self-esteem. The goals are to provide case management and support for refugee clients, provide workshops to refugee families on domestic abuse, provide education to social and human service agencies/organizations on refugee family situations. Referrals are from families themselves, local agencies/organizations, domestic violence centers.
