Program/Service Description:
Marion House is a state licensed group home for pregnant and parenting adolescent mothers. We feature an on-site day care, playground on 1.65 acre lot, security system, 6 bedrooms for mother and child, a furnished 2 bedroom apartment for final transition into independent living, laundry facilities, study room with computers, recreation room and much more. We accept an adolescent (age 13-17) at any stage of her pregnancy or an adolescent who already has a child. Marion House opened in January of 1994 with the goal of helping adolescent mothers gain the skills to raise their children independently.
