Program/Service Description:
This program assists qualifying Wisconsin residents who are over income for the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance and weatherization programs in making energy efficiency improvements to their homes. To qualify you must: receive natural gas and electricity from participating utilities, fall within the income range for the size of their household and live in a single family home, mobile home, duplex, triplex or four unit. Qualifying applicants receive a home energy evaluation from a program consultant to determine the needed energy efficiency improvements. Then, Targeted Home Performance will arrange and pay 90% of the costs of the eligible energy efficiency improvements--the qualified applicant pays only 10 percent.
