Program/Service Description:
This is a diabetes education class specifically designed for the Hispanic population. The classes are held mostly on the weekends for two hours at a time for six consecutive weeks. The classes will be offered periodically throughout the year. There is no fee and child care is provided. Help arranging transportation is provided. Participants are asked to arrive early so that blood sugars can be tested, weight checked etc.
