Program/Service Description:
Mobile Meals provides hot, nutritious meals Monday though Friday for those who are unable to prepare their own food, unable to attend a meal site or go to a restaurant and who have no one to prepare a meal for them. Each week you will receive an envelope with a menu which you need to complete and return it to the driver the next day. All diets are monitored by a registered dietitian. Cost is $3/day or $15/week. A bill sent monthly. Credit will be given only on a holiday or in the event of inclement weather. Meals must be canceled by 10:00am of that day. Meals are delivered five days a week between 11:30am and 12:30pm. If the Green Bay Public Schools are closed because of the weather, meals will also be canceled. There is no meal delivery on weekends or holidays. If the holiday lands on a Saturday, it will be observed on the Friday before. If the holiday lands on a Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. Meals are delivered on the west side of Green Bay only.
