Program/Service Description:
Parkside is an apartment housing complex for people age 62 or older. Rent ranges from $418 for one bedroom and $532 for two bedrooms. Security deposit is $250 for one bedroom and $300 for two bedrooms. Heat, water, and sewer are included in the rent. There is a community room, laundry facilities, secured doors, and pull cords in the bedroom and bathroom. Inquire about the noon meal availability. Two apartments are handicapped accessible. There are also 14 subsidized housing units by WHEDA. Income restrictions are as follows: one person--$22,600 and two people--$25,850. Ask about the rental cost for a subsidized apartment. No smoking is allowed. Pets are allowed.
