Program/Service Description:
Aquatic therapy provides an added benefit to a person's rehabilitation program. People with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, arthritis, brain injury, spinal cord injury, fibromyalgia, orthopedic, sports injuries, other neurological conditions will especially benefit from this program. The program can relieve pain, decrease fear of movement, provide aerobic exercise, allows for strengthening, improves sensory input and circulation. The program features a 12 foot by 8 foot spa size aquatic therapy pool. Features include: variable water current, private changing rooms, variable temperature, hydro-powered chair lift, eight work stations, one-on-one therapist to client ratio, and easy accessibility.
