Program/Service Description:
This program focuses on people affected by Alzheimers Disease and related dementia who are in need of supervision and assistance, but who are able to participate in activities in a structured setting. This adult day care program is primarily designed to provide respite care to caregivers who are caring for someone in their own home. Clients are offered a full schedule of recreational and social activities. An assessment is completed first to determine eligibility. The program accommodates up to 30 clients per day with a 6:1 client to staff ratio. Personal care assistance will be provided for eating, toileting, and other activities of daily living as needed. Local rides are available.
