Program/Service Description:
This is an emergency shelter for up to 92 adult men and women experiencing homelessness or are homeless. A meal is served seven days a week from 5:00pm to 6:00pm for the residents and the men, women, and children in the community who are hungry. A noon meal is served on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays at 11:30am to 12:30pm. Screening to determine admission to the shelter is completed at any time. On site housing is available in sixteen, single occupancy, efficiency style apartments. Case management is provided along with GED classes through NWTC, employment assistance to help build skills for employment, and life skills teaching. Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol. Relapse prevention and other support groups available. AA meetings on site. Spanish speaking staff available.
