Program/Service Description:
Provides information and assistance about multiple sclerosis. There is a program called Knowledge is Power (KIP) which is a free at-home educational series for people who are newly diagnosed and family members. It provides current and accurate information about multiple sclerosis. There is a lending library available and a newsletter. Also available is the Financial Assistance program which is a grant that covers counseling, respite care, durable medical equipment, home and vehicle modifications, air conditioners, exercise programs and emergency assistance. Requests for assistance must be approved before the item or service is obtained. Call for further information.
