Program/Service Description:
Mason Manor is a public housing for the elderly(age 62 and older) and persons with disabilities. It is an eight story, 154 unit building conveniently located close to shopping, medical facilities and transportation. It is a security locked building with a state of the art fire system. Mason Manor offers many tenant activities which include entertainment, speakers, movie night, religious services, bookmobile etc. Mason Manor also is one of the meal sites for the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Brown County. Meals are paid on the basis of what each person can afford. There is also an on-site registered nurse one afternoon a week who sees persons by appointment. Mason Manor has three full time staff persons, and 4 part time persons who are employed and tend the building when full time staff are not present. Rent is 30% of adjusted gross income.
