Program/Service Description:
Services provided by the lawyer referral line include: the lawyer hotline, which can answer legal questions free of charge within a few days of your call; the lawyer referral service, which can refer you to a lawyer in your geographic area or elsewhere in Wisconsin; the community referral service, which will refer you to other legal service organizations, government agencies, or community resources that are able to help with the legal concern. There may be a consultation fee from the lawyer you choose. The service can also refer you to an appropriate organization if not able to afford a lawyer.
