Program/Service Description:
Membership in the cardiovascular wellness center includes: initial consultation to develop a personalized exercise program, cardiovascular equipment such as treadmills, airdyne bicycles, recumbent bicycles, precor crosstrainer, rubberized walking track, free weights, locker rooms, TV and stereo equipment, use of educational resources such as books, brochures, internet access, and educational opportunities such as lectures, weekly educational classes and a teaching kitchen for cooking demonstrations and hands-on cooking class. Membership rates vary depending on the number of months you wish to be a member. Geared towards individuals 59 and older. Goal is to help develop an overall sense of health for individuals.
