Program/Service Description:
Conducts customized training sessions for a variety of audiences, covering such subjects as the basics of Medicare and Medicaid, how to read a Medicare Summary Notice and how to identify and report error, fraud, waste and abuse. Provides information at community sponsored senior events, health fairs, expos and conventions. Educates the general public about preventing and reporting Medicare/Medicaid error, fraud, waste and abuse. Recruits retired professionals and other volunteers to educate their peers about preserving the integrity of the Medicare/Medicaid program.
