Program/Service Description:
The Adult Day Services program provides opportunities for persons with a cognitive disability to develop valued non-work related adult roles in the community. Trained staff will be involved throughout the day and provide support for individuals as needed. The three main components of the program consist of work opportunities, adult classes and community activities. Some of the classes offered include: leisure skills, sensory awareness, socialization, cooking, music, arts and crafts and others. Community outings include: concerts, movies, picnics, bowling, swimming, fishing and others.
