Program/Service Description:
Provides a comprehensive driving evaluation for people with a developmental disability, physical disability, and other physical/mental limitations The evaluation includes clinical pre-driver screening and behind-the-wheel assessment. The assessment takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Will assess cognitive/visual processing, range of motion, reaction time, mobility skills, judgement/decision making, vehicle operation, etc. The on-site service allows for evaluation and training in the client's own driving environment. Will provide advice for vehicle adaptation for better ease of driving, instructions on how to use the equipment, and follow-up.
