Program/Service Description:
The Brown County Oral Health Partnership is a nonprofit organization whose long term objectives are to develop and maintain a coordinated system of dental care and education for low-income uninsured and underinsured children and adults in Brown County. School dental care is provided for low-income students from Pre-K through grade 12. Local dentists and hygienists utilize mobile equipment which is transported to the schools to create an in-school dental office. Dental education is provided at schools and at community organizations to give children and adults the opportunity to learn about importance of dental care, including coaching on proper brushing, flossing and tooth care. Education and parent information will be provided as needed available in English, Spanish and Hmong. Services provided include exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride treatment, sealants, fillings, crowns, extractions, oral hygiene instruction and other clinically indicated procedures.
