Individuals who are in the final stages of life and would like to receive skilled nursing care in an alternative, home-like setting are eligible to make the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence their home

Fees Charges:

Unity is able to offer room and board at a low cost to our patients. Daily room and board are covered by a patient's private insurance, private pay and community support. Hospice care services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and other funding sources.

Program/Service Description:
The Jack and Engrid Meng Residence is an inpatient facility providing end-of-life care services. Having cared for families for more than thirty years, Unity is proud to offer residential hospice care to patients who are no longer able to remain in their homes. Unity's mission is to give patients the best quality of life in their final days--with dignity, comfort, and self-determination at the heart of its care. At Unity's hospice residence, family and friends can feel confident that their loved one is receiving the care, expertise, and serenity they need and deserve at one of life's most precious times. The Jack and Engrid Meng hospice residence is situated on a 34 acre property in De Pere surrounded by gardens, ponds and cedar woods. All patients enjoy private rooms, each with a personal bathroom and shower, TV/DVD, telephone, linens and towels, and individual temperature controls for heating and cooling. The home-like residence also features three family rooms, kitchen and patio available for resident and resident family use. Day-and-night care details are handled by Unity's staff.
