Program/Service Description:
The Wisconsin Division of Energy, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Division of Health, operates the Wisconsin Lead Hazard Reduction Program (LHRP). This program was created to provide assistance to low-to-moderate income homeowners, with children under age six, who occupy houses with lead-based paint hazards. Residential property owners, who have buildings with lead-based paint hazards and that are occupied by low-to-moderate income tenants with children under age 6, may also be eligible for assistance.
