Program/Service Description:
The Wisconsin Victim Resource Center provides the following statewide services to victims of crime: 1. Telephone counseling 2. Information and referrals for crime victims who are experiencing problems 3. Problem-solving assistance relative to the victimization 4. Victim/witness assistance services in matters the Attorney General's Office is prosecuting and no other services are available 5. Resource person to district attorneys in counties with no victim/witness program 6. Informational materials on topics such as sexual assault, child sexual abuse and victim's rights in Wisconsin 7. An advocate for victims in exercising their state constitutional rights. 8. Crime Victim Compensation Assistance
