Program/Service Description:
1-800-RUNAWAY The nations largest runaway assistance center and information help line, offers: 1. free crisis intervention and assistance to runaways (up to age 21) 2. Information and referral from a database of over 11,000 agencies by city and state 3. Conference calls with families through our toll-free lines 4. Conference calls with agencies to confirm appropriateness and availability of services 5. Message delivery to parents and guardians. 6. Administration of Greyhound Lines, Inc. HomeFree program for youth 12-20 who qualify. The Agency Information Line provides information and referrals to agencies who work with youth-in-crisis.
