Program/Service Description:
What is it? The ChalleNGe Academy is a residential program committed to improving the quality of life for Wisconsin's teens. Where is it? The ChalleNGe Academy is located between the two cities of Sparta and Tomah in Western Wisconsin at Fort McCoy. Who can attend? Sixteen and nine months through eighteen year old at-risk teens. We offer habitual high school truants an opportunity to obtain an HSED (High School Equivalency Diploma) and to change their lives in a positive manner. Why should I attend? To make positive changes in life, obtain an HSED, learn necessary job skills, and learn to develop character. These are just a few reasons as to why anyone should apply to be a Cadet at the ChalleNGe Academy.
