Program/Service Description:
Metastar is an organization that works to improve health care in Wisconsin. If you believe that the medical care you received caused you harm in anyway, Metastar can do a records review of your medical records to determine if a medical error occurred. Some examples of harmful medical care include: being given the wrong medication or a medication you are allergic to; being given the wrong blood when a transfusion is ordered; being improperly evaluated for a problem; being given the wrong treatment. Metastar will work with the health care provider to implement changes and improve services.
