Program/Service Description:
Circles of Support is a prison re-entry program in which community volunteers work with men and women recently released from prison or jail in a "circle" or group setting. Circles offers pro-social support, breaks down barriers to success and link participants to concrete resources. Circles of Support meets at First United Methodist church on Madison and Howe St. every other Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00pm; every other Saturday from 10:00am to noon at Harmony Cafe on Mason St. Participation is voluntary and referrals are from probation and parole, social service agencies, families, or self referral.
