Eligibility:

    

Tribally enrolled Native Americans who are economically disadvantaged; unemployed or underemployed; lived in one of the following counties-Brown, Door, Calumet, Outagamie, Kewaunee, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Winnebago; at least 22 years of age; meet the low-income guidelines.

Program/Service Description:
The WIA Employment and Training Project (Workforce Investment Act) assists individuals with their job training and employment needs. Services available include: assessment and career counseling, pre employment skills training, classroom training, basic skills development, work experience positions, job search, resume development, interview skill, and cover letter development. For the initial appointment you need to bring the following items: tribal enrollment card or document verifying enrollment, social security card, picture ID, birth certificate, proof of 30 day residency, and income verification for last 12 months.
