Program/Service Description:
A hospital with an emergency room and First Care, a twenty-four hour walk in care center. Provides all types of medical care. Also employs a cultural liaison. This person works with case managers to coordinate and collaborate care for limited English proficiency patients, serves as an advocate, assists these patients in understanding insurance coverage and payment options, facilitates cultural diversity awareness and staff training.
