Program/Service Description:
This respite care program is sponsored through the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. Families are provided trained people who will stay with an older adult for a short period of time (approximately 2-4 hours) to offer an interval of rest or relief from constant caregiving. The respite workers are not able to perform nursing care, but rather act as a companion. There is no cost, but donations are accepted.
