Program/Service Description:
Parkway Highlands is an apartment building for older adults age 55 or older. Rent for this housing unit depends on the apartment. Costs can range from a 1 bedroom for $645-$710/month; two bedroom between $610 to $805/month. There is a $250 security deposit. Subsidized WHEDA apartments are available and an application needs to be filled out to determine income eligibility. Rent for a subsidized apartment ranges from $500 to $548/month for a one bedroom; $595 to $665/month for a two bedroom. Security deposit for a WHEDA apartment is $100. Cost of the utilities is not included in the rent. Some apartments may have a walk-n shower. Some pets are allowed. Smoking is allowed in the apartments. Pull cords are located in each apartment. Town homes are also available. Underground parking available for a fee.
