Program/Service Description:
Parkview Manor is a 136 bed nursing home that is certified for Medicare and Medicaid and accepts private funds, insurance, and veteran benefits for payment. There are private rooms available . There is also a 36 bed Rapid Recovery unit with private and companion suites. The rehabilitation suites have a television with cable service, reclining lounge chairs and air conditioning. Other amenities include activities, chapel with religious services, beauty shop, IV therapy, wound care management, PT/OT/ST, dialysis, pharmacy, lab, radiology, and discharge planning services. There is a 24 bed secured Special Care unit which accepts people with dementia and Alzheimer's Disease and offers a family support group quarterly. Contracts with Unity Hospice, Aurora Visiting Nurse, Southern Care, and Heartland Home Health to provide hospice care. Short-term respite care services available.
