Program/Service Description:
The Oneida Nation Food Distribution Program (OFDP) offers food in lieu of Food Stamps. The mission is to provide a nutritious food package for eligible households and nutrition guidelines to improve the quality of life of people. Available commodities include: fresh vegetables, canned vegetables, cereal, pasta, fresh fruit, frozen meats and miscellaneous items. The service area includes the Oneida Reservation, Green Bay, and the rural areas of Brown, Outagamie, Door, Manitowoc and Kewaunee Counties. OFDP is closed the last five working days of each month, for Tribal holidays, and Friday afternoons.
